Having first developed the partnership in 2013 when Michael Shank Racing campaigned a Daytona Prototype, the Roberts Service Group name will now proudly ride along the new Michael Shank Racing No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2.

In addition to the Michael Shank Racing team’s race endeavors, Roberts Service Group also stepped up to sponsor Columbus, Ohio radio station 95.5 FM The Game LIVE at Daytona International Speedway during the Rolex 24 event last year.

Daytona ARCA test, December 2014“We are very excited for our continued involvement with Michael Shank Racing,” said Beth Butler, President, Roberts Service Group. “We are honored to partner with this team. It is great to work with a fellow Ohio business and we are very excited to see what 2015 brings. The new car looks incredible and there has been lots of buzz about it so we’re thrilled to be a part of that!”

Roberts Service Group has over three decades of experience serving the Columbus, Ohio area market, providing a range of services that include emergency power management, lighting, fiber optic network systems, and facility management. With an eye on long term sustainability and emerging technologies, Roberts also manages a range of green initiatives including solar and photovoltaic systems design.

“Roberts Service Group is a big supporter of our team and we’re very happy to have them back with us again this year,” said Team Owner Mike Shank. “We had a great year with commercial sales last year and I think this new car and new motor will only help to drive that. Everybody is very excited about this new project. We are grateful to Beth (Butler, President, Roberts Service Group) and her group for their ongoing support of Michael Shank Racing.”

2015 marks Michael Shank Racing’s 11th consecutive sportscar racing season. The team recently announced that longtime Michael Shank Racing drivers John Pew and Ozz Negri will return to the team for the full season, with 17-year-old upcoming race talent Matt McMurry joining the duo in the four longer Tequila Patron North American Endurance events (Rolex 24 At Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen, and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta). NASCAR Sprint Cup driver AJ Allmendinger will complete the driver roster for the No. 60 Ligier-Honda in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

The 2015 TUDOR Championship begins with the 53rd Rolex 24 At Daytona January 24 at Daytona International Speedway.
