Michael Shank Racing Looks to Fans for Team to Win Award

Pataskala, Ohio (18 August 2014) – With strategy and pace combining for a breakthrough run to second place, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian put teamwork on full display at Road America.

Now there is a chance for fans of the popular team to help contribute as Michael Shank Racing seeks to win the Microsoft Visual Studio Team to Win Award. The Columbus, Ohio-based squad is up for an award that will be decided on by the fans. New this year, the Microsoft Visual Studio Team to Win Award is decided after each IMSA event, with four nominated teams up for the honor, which is based on each team’s performance in the previous event.

The Team to Win Award winner is determined by  fan voting (http://online.wsj.com/ad/team-to-win/?team-to-win-award-voting/).

The run to the Road America podium marked the 11th consecutive season that the Shank organization has taken a podium finish in IMSA Prototype competition.

“Road America was a big result for everyone on this team and it is great to have that recognized with being nominated for this deal, hopefully our fans can help us get to the top of it!” said team owner Mike Shank.
