This weekend is the first Formula One race from Melbourne, Australia.  Qualifying is over with Hamilton taking the pole for Mercedes, Vettel taking the second spot for Ferrari, and Bottas the newest member of the Mercedes team taking third. Felipe Massa has also returned, taking the spot Bottas vacated at Williams.

Race day is Sunday so if you are watching from here in the US it is schedule for midnight tonight, EST on NBC Sports Network.

Hopefully Ferrari and Red Bull will provide Mercedes more of a challenge this year as the quest for the championship has been a bit dull the last couple of years with Mercedes having no real competition.  I will keep you informed as to what is happening.
