Another week between testing and the practice, qualifying and the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, January 25-26th. This will be available on Fox Sports 1 and 2 starting
January 25th at 2:30pm.
With the teams of Dempsey Racing in GTD with 2 Porsche GT America’s and Falken in GTLM with their Porsche, Level 5 Motorsports with their 2 Ferrari 458 Italian GT3 cars in GTD, Krohnengold Racing in their Ferrari 458 in GTLM, SRT with their 2 Vipers in GTLM and the Seattle team with their Porsche all have good testing at the Roar with the top 20 GTD cars all within 1 second in lap times. Looks like a very competitive racing for teams and fans.
This is just the start of the new year and season for the Tudor United SportsCar Championship!
Next week I will fill you in with Prototypes.
Lastly, what do you think about Formula E with Formula 1 for this year.
Starting September 13, 2014 in Beijing the new season will start with a electric race car capable of 0-100 kph in 3 seconds and a top peed of 150 mph, 10 teams, 2 drivers each and 2 cars each
Built by French bases Spark Racing Technology with a Dallara chassis, Williams Battery design, Mclaren powertrain & electronics, Renault overall system integration and Michelin tires. Could this be the future of racing? We will have to wait and see.
