Formula One’s next rules change will have to wait until 2017 after a meeting in Geneva February 17th, yielded a vote against significant technical changes before then.
Sources at FIA’s Formula One Commission had rejected a proposal to change the regulations and allow cars with wider tires and different bodywork for the 2016 season.
Last year was the big change with the introduction of a new v^ turbo hybrid power unit replacing the V8 engines that many Formula One fans preferred.
