This Sunday is the big football day for the AFC and NFC Championship games.  The culmination of the season for some teams, while it is the end for others.  The final 4 teams will come down to the two for the 50th Super bowl game in two weeks.  In the middle of those two weeks is the start of another season, the racing season for the IMSA Weather Tech Sports Car Championship at Daytona, also known as the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona. A football game has four 15 minute quarters with a 15 minute halftime.  The Rolex 24 hours of Daytona is a full 24 hours with no halftime, no break just all out till the end.  But just like Football, thru any kind of weather and thru the night with some lights.  Both great sport events in a matter of 7 days.

So we will see the teams move into Daytona and have practice and qualifying before the start next Saturday.  There are the four classes of Prototype, Prototype Challenge, GT Lemans and GT Daytona along with other support races as the Continental Challenge.

Television coverage is Fox Speed 1 at 2:00pm ET, Fox Speed 2 at 4:00pm ET, IMSA.tv at 10:00pm ET on Saturday.

Sunday: Fox Speed 1 at 7:00am, Fox Speed 2  at 10:30am and Fox Speed 1 at 1:00pm.
