EXPERIENCE IS KEY: Stevenson Motorsports has had some big days at Road Atlanta, including a double win day in 2013 when the team won the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race with John Edwards and Matt Bell, and then went on to take a Rolex Series victory with Edwards and Robin Liddell later that day. The team also boasts two pole positions at the track as well as having secured its 2015 IMSA championship there last year.

Between the six drivers, the lineup brings 16 Petit Le Mans starts with two podiums for Liddell and Davis and a win by Liddell in 2004 with Intersport as well as a runner-up finish with Risi Competizione in 2013.
CHAMPIONSHIP INTENTIONS: Following a late-season surge and double podium performance at VIR and a top-10 in Austin, Stevenson Motorsports arrives in Atlanta ready to fight for the championship. In the team’s debut WeatherTech season with the new Audi R8 LMS machinery, the No. 6 Stevenson Motorsports team enters the finale in third place in the GTD Championship fight, a mere two points shy of second. Fresh off of the squad’s 2015 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Championship title, the team is no stranger to the challenges and pressures of fighting for the crown.

Both Stevenson cars are also in contention to win the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.

ROAD ATLANTA REWIND: Campaigning in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series last year, Stevenson Motorsports entered the final round leading the championship and continued their perfect season streak of finishing all race laps to win the team championship. With the No. 6 third in the WeatherTech Championship this weekend, the team looks for another big weekend in Atlanta.

WELCOME SKEEN AND VON MOTLKE: For the final endurance event of the season Stevenson Motorsports adds two IMSA veterans to the roster. Mike Skeen, who brings 18 IMSA starts dating back to GRAND-AM including one previous start at Petit Le Mans joins Davis and Liddell in the No. 6.

In the No. 9 car, Dion von Moltke joins Aschenbach and Bell. The Audi Ambassador brings an impressive resume of experience, specifically Audi expertise. He has four previous starts at Petit Le Mans, with a best finish of fourth in 2011.
A LOOK AT 2016 SO FAR: The Stevenson Motorsports team has continued to make remarkable progress through the year after debuting its new Audi R8 LMS platform at the Daytona season-opener. The No. 6 of Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell has scored three consecutive front row starting positions as well as three podium finishes in the previous three races. The No. 9 Audi R8 LMS has also shown strong form with Matt Bell and Lawson Aschenbach starting second and third in the previous two races and finishing a season-best third at VIRginia International Raceway.
