In the Pirelli World Challenge series, it has been reported that Effort Racing has halted all racing for this season while saying that they will be back in 2017.

Drivers Michael Lewis and Porsche Factory ace Patrick Long sitting at fourth and fifth in the GT Championship have been released.

“We want to Thank our fans for their wonderful support and salute our competitors in the series as they continue their run to the Pirelli World Challenge crown.” said team owner Chuck Toups.

With their with draw this leaves only a single Porsche 911 GT3 R with Andrew Davis in the Calvert Dynamics entry in the Pirelli World Challenge.
