Ed Brown, CEO of Patron Spirits and owner of the Tequila Patron Racing Team, did not take kindly to a SPONSOR TEAM leaving the series it is a title sponsor of.

Brown, whose team no longer races FULLTIME in the IMSA series as it now races in the FIA World endurance Championship, took to instagram to show his displeasure with WeatherTech.

“Are you kidding me ?!?  The WeatherTech Porsche is parking it because of BOP (Balance of Performance)!  Do you know how many times we felt we got bad calls as a sponsor ad sucked it up!!  Poor sports drive harder.  STOP going on your boat and practice, don’t blame the series. #growup
