2014 STEVENSON MOTORSPORTS CONTINENTAL TIRE ROAD RACE SHOWCASE:
No. 6 Camaro Z/28.R – Andrew Davis & Robin Liddell
No. 9 Camaro Z/28.R – Matt Bell & Andy Lally

QUICK LOOK AT THE CONTINENTAL TIRE ROAD RACE SHOWCASE: Stevenson Motorsports has competed in every round of competition at Road America for the past three years. Notably, Stevenson Motorsports drivers have visited the podium at the track four times, including Matt Bell’s win in 2011 when he teamed with John Edwards. Andy Lally arrives at the track for the second time this season as he competed there earlier in the year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race.

2014 CHAMPIONSHIP PURSUIT: With the team’s mid-season surge, Stevenson Motorsports is now a strong championship contender for the title. The No. 6 Camaro Z.28/R team of Liddell and Davis is second in the championship and just 15 points out of the lead with 199 points. The brother No. 9 Camaro Z.28/R team of Bell and Lally are sixth in the standings with 172 points.

PREVIOUSLY…. AT THE BRICKYARD GRAND PRIX: Stevenson Motorsports continued their winning ways in Indianapolis as Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell combined to score the team’s third consecutive and fourth overall win of the season. Prior to the addition to their podium streak, Bell also added to the team’s dominance as he drove the No. 9 Camaro Z/28.R to the Indianapolis pole position.

WHAT’S NEW?: With the dawn of the new era in sports car racing this season, Stevenson Motorsports has switched their focus solely to the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, competing with their brand new Camaro Z/28.R. This year’s race marks the first time the team has competed at the track solely in Continental Tire competition and looks to make the most of the 2.75-hour sprint race.

THE 2013 CHAMPIONSHIP: Stevenson Motorsports secured a second consecutive runner-up position in the championship with drivers Matt Bell and John Edwards who combined for two wins on the year in the Chevrolet Camaro GS.R. The team amassed six podiums and finished among the top-10 in all but two races, remaining in contention for the championship all season long. With two poles and four wins, both Stevenson Camaro Z/28.R machines remain in striking distance of the 2014 championship.
